On Thursday 12 September a group of students from Year 4 attended a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) day at Marsden High School as part of our commitment to the Marsden Learning Alliance. Meadowbank students joined with their peers from Ermington, Melrose Park and West Ryde in a range of exciting STEM activities. These included catapult building, Microbit programming, Minecraft, Mars lunar rover creation and an excellent Robotics showcase from Marsden High school students.
Meadowbank students developed their creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration throughout the day by engaging with their peers in these challenging activities. The day culminated with a paper plane design and make challenge that was won by students from Melrose Park Public school.
Meadowbank students should be commended on their excellent behaviour and ingenuity throughout the day.
