All students at Meadowbank Public School participate in sport as well as physical education during the week.
Sport for students Kindergarten-Year 2
Sport for students in Kindergarten-Year 2 involves a session with their classroom teacher.
Students in Kindergarten-Year 2 participate in the school athletics carnival.
Sport for students Year 3-6
Students in Year 3-6 have the opportunity to be selected for PSSA (Primary Schools Sports Association). If they are not selected they have the opportunity to select another sport.
Students in Year 3-6 participate in the school swimming, athletics and cross country carnivals.
Primary Schools Sport Association (PSSA)
Meadowbank Public School students in Year 3-6 have the opportunity to be selected for a PSSA team. Students who are talented in sport or have ability in a particular sport have the opportunity to compete against students at other schools by trying out for a PSSA sport.
Meadowbank Public School participate in the PSSA competitions in football (soccer), netball, tiger tag, newcombe/volleyball, softball and T-ball.
